A TOUCH OF MINIMALISM
A LUXURY BESPOKE CRAFTED KITCHEN
After commissioning a new Arts and Crafts building, these clients brought in JGS to design the main downstairs living space.
They wanted a warm colourful environment that integrated modern family living into a traditionally-style green oak house.
We planned five zones on one large room: sitting, dining, kitchen, walk-in pantry and drinks areas. All these are connected but distinct, separated from each other mainly by means of furniture, with sightlines through to other sections of the space.
Surfaces were chosen for their colour and light-reflective or absorption qualities: polished plaster in pink for the pantry, Sensotile on the bar cabinet doors, and a Corian light dresser that produces 30,000 shades of colour at the flick of a switch!
